Jewish Holidays Fall Challenge: Day 1
Welcome to the first day of the 31-Day Jewish Fall Holiday Challenge!

Why Celebrate the Fall Holidays?
Of course, the easy answer is: Um, because God said so, and it’s in the Torah.
But why would God say so?
I have a couple of ideas.
First, they’re good for you. You get to spend some time working on yourself, working on your relationships, and working on your connection to God. Then…you get to relax and enjoy yourself!
Second, it’s a chance to learn so much about Judaism, the Jewish people, and our traditions in a relatively short amount of time. And personally, I have found that the more I learn, the more meaningful experience I have during the holidays.
Next time, we’re going to go over the list of all the special days included in this season of reflection and celebration, and I can’t wait to see what questions you have and what we can learn together.
